Guilford County is strategically seeking partnerships with nonprofit agencies that can assist the County with addressing major, identified concerns. Please refer to the chart below for the Guilford County Focus Areas and corresponding Major County Issues. Limited funds may be available to address identified needs. Already, Guilford County Departments have reduced their operating budgets due to challenging economic realities. To date, there is not a targeted financial award that a nonprofit can receive; however, the CBO (Community Based Organizations) Funding Policy should be considered: “Organizations may apply to Guilford County for one-time expenses, start-up expenses for new programs or a maximum of three years of continuous funding with a 1/3 reduction for each of the subsequent two years.”
