Guilford County EMS is currently accepting applications for current vacancies, as well as future expansion. Guilford EMS employs both full-time (Benefited) and hourly (Non-benefited) employees. We seek highly motivated individuals who desire to work in a progressive, urban EMS system. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis. Applicants for full-time employment must possess NC paramedic certification within two years. Highly qualified EMT and EMT-I candidates will be considered for full-time employment and paid in-house paramedic education.
Guilford County EMS is a nationally accredited EMS service providing care to a population of 430,000 persons in a 657 square mile area. The service area includes the cities of Greensboro and High Point, as well as several incorporated towns. Paramedics utilize aggressive protocols and interact closely with first responder agencies. Additionally, the annual call volume exceeds 40,000.
