Welcome to the Guilford County Property Management.
Property Management provides a variety of services. This department manages the Capital Improvement Program including the planning, design, construction, and furnishing of new and renovated facilities. Design, construction and testing services are outsourced in accordance with N. C. General Statutes. Additionally, Property Management coordinates and oversees relocations for County departments.
Property Management provides oversight to the Parks, Open Space and Trails programs.
Property Management also manages real estate acquisitions, disposition of surplus real property, negotiation of easements, encroachments, lease agreements, assignment of space in County buildings and vending contracts. It is also our responsibility to outsource all surveying, appraisals, environmental testing and mapping required to support the County’s Capital Improvement projects and real estate activities.
It is Property Management’s goal to provide services that result in a durable, cost effective, efficient facility to provide a good work environment to the employees as well as value to the taxpayer.
